Our Strategic Vision 2019-21

We have identified four areas of focus for our collaborative activity over the next three years:

For each area, we have identified desired outcomes to guide our activity planning:

A culture of vibrant and explicit Catholic life is established, both within the Lumen Christi Catholic Multi Academy and in the communities we serve

  • Establish a rich and inclusive approach to prayer and worship across Lumen Christi Catholic Multi Academy
  • Increase applications from practising Catholics who transition within the Catholic sector
  • Offer a vibrant programme for the spiritual development of staff and pupils
  • Actively engage our  parishes and communities with the message of the Gospel

 

The future of Catholic education is secure and sustainable

  • Lumen Christi Catholic MAC is beacon of Catholic Education across the South of Birmingham
  • Our schools are full and pupil recruitment, transition and retention is optimised 
  • Clear strategies for finance, central services and estate management support  the future success of the MAC
  • Lumen Christi MAC positively contributes to both local and national strategies for MAC growth and development

 

Outcomes in each school enable our children to reach their full potential in the light of Christ

  • All key stage performance data is above national average and improving where necessary for all pupils
  • Standards of excellence are consistently applied across the Lumen Christi Multi Catholic Academy
  • Areas of development are addressed swiftly and good practice is celebrated and shared
  • Moral purpose and a strong culture of safeguarding define the pastoral work of our schools
