Consultation on Admissions Policy 2023/24

Further to a request from Birmingham Diocesan Education Service and Birmingham Local Authority School Place Planning, St. Thomas More Catholic Primary School is proposing to reduce its Published Admissions Number (PAN) from 60 places to 45 from the 2023/24 reception intake. You can review the fully policy by following the link below.St. Thomas More Catholic Primary School - Proposed Admissions Policy 2023/24This proposed reduction is in response to analysis of birth rates across the locality which suggests that the demand for places in Sheldon is unlikely to increase in the next few years so there will be insufficient children to fill all current places across schools in the area for some time to come and, therefore low admission numbers would be expected over the coming years. plan  Reducing the PAN will enable Directors and school leaders to more effectively plan for the operational and financial running of the school
